Grow A Forest Book Club (ages 10-12)
"Students need a forrest of wisdom to thrive in the world today. We do this by planting one tree at a time." Ginelle Showalter
In Grow A Forest Book Club we will be planting seeds of wisdom by reading & discussing vibrant classics, movie nights, memorizing book quotes, engaging in fun literature based activities, learning what make a book a classic, and writing opinion papers all while earning awards for books read, quotes memorized, projects completed, and essays turned in. In addition to the three books we will be doing in class, the students will have the opportunity to do a short presentation on a book of their choosing. Join us on Zoom for 14 adventurous and fun filled Thursdays, Oct. 3, 2024 through Jan. 23, 2025, 10:00-11:30 AM Mountain Time.
