Grow A Forest Book club -Teen
"Students need a forest of wisdom to thrive in the world today. We do this by planting one tree at a time."
~Ginelle Showalter
In Grow A Forest Book Club for Teens we will continue to plant seeds of wisdom by reading & discussing vibrant classics that challenge us to think & ask questions. We will engage with committing book quotes to memory, writing opinion papers, giving creative oral presentations, movie nights, discovering what makes a book a classic, & other fun literature based activities. Students will earn awards for books read, quotes memorized, projects completed, and essays turned in. In addition to the four books we will be doing in class, the students will have an opportunity to do a presentation on a book of their choosing. Join us on Zoom for 14 adventurous & fun filled Thursdays, October 3, 2024 through January 23, 2025, 12:30-2:30PM Mountain Time.
